He examined how multipolarity triggered by building connectivity ‘corridors’ has impacted the behaviour of the local actors in the South Caucasus as they jockeyed for positions in the regional system. Taking into consideration the Russo-Ukrainian and Nagorno-Karabakh wars and the geopolitical and geo-economic shifts, the chapter focused on the impact of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) and Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) on the South Caucasus and wider Eurasian connectivity in an evolving multipolar world order.
