The purpose is a comprehensive analysis and assessment of opportunities and threats to Polish energy security with the recommendation to reduce economic and social risks and maximize opportunities for investment in infrastructure.
Will the Unconventional Gas Change the Traditional Energy Relations in the World? The debate about the geostrategic dimension of energy relations in the world in the context of increasing role of natural gas in the USA. Its resources are likely to be found in Europe and Poland and its potential exploitation can be the beginning of the "shale gas revolution". The panel will initiate the Kościuszko Institute's long-term project which supports energy security in Poland. Read more
