EGF is dedicated towards the promotion of an objective, pan-European debate on geopolitics. In order to work towards this objective, EGF actively cooperates with a wide range of Affiliated Experts, most of whom originate from the countries in the EU’s external neighbourhood. EGF Affiliated Experts are actively engaged in examining and debating the core issues in the wider-European geopolitical context. They are well placed to elaborate upon the conventional appreciation of European geopolitics widely held by Europeans.
In this context, EGF seeks to encourage and effectively expand the flow of (geopolitical) information from east to west, from south to north. Exchange of positions on geopolitics and interactivity between experts from east and west, south and north, is at the heart of the EGF project. We encourage all experts, decision makers and other stakeholders committed to a more objective debate on wider-European geopolitics to participate in the EGF initiative.
