Fuad is an analyst with a focus on regional security and defence issues. He holds B.A degree in International Affairs from Baku Slavic University (2009-2013), and M.A degree in Diplomacy and Political Science from University of Bologna (2014-2016). Fuad has been a research assistant at the Brussels-based European Policy Centre where he had focused on Eurasian politics. From 2016 to 2018 he became a research fellow at Foreign Policy Analysis Department at the Centre for Strategic Studies under the President of Republic of Azerbaijan. Currently he is a Senior Analyst at a Baku-based non-governmental organization.

Fuad has contributed numerous articles to publications of the European Policy Centre, Centre for Strategic Estimates, Gulf States Analytics, and interviews to Aljazeera, Euronews, and Radio Free Liberty. He is also the author of two books: "Syria 1946-2012", and "Tunisian Model of Democracy in Arab World".
