Date: 09.04.2013
Published on EGF: 09.04.2013

The EGF is proud to announce that it has been selected by an academic International Advisory Board to present a research paper on "Old Powers Re-emerging in the Wider Black Sea: Security and Region-Building Strategies in Europe’s Eastern Neighborhood” at the International Conference on "EU and the Emerging Powers" that will take place, on 29 and 30 April 2013, at the European Parliament from Brussels. This conference, that is going to be organized by a Consortium of Belgian Universities, will aim at analyzing how the recent rise of emerging powers has affected the EU's external policies and its global governance strategy across four key dimensions: economics; security; energy and the environment; rule of law, democracy, and human rights. Details about the theme and the program of this conference could be found at emerging_powers.html
